I Like to Play Piano
In my spare time, I like to play the piano to relax. I've recorded a few songs and put them on YouTube. A bunch of YouTuber's have asked for copies of lead sheets so I have put up scanned copies here. If this is not legit, then let me know and I will take it down.
PAC-MONDRIAN
Pacman meets Piet Mondrian's Modernist masterpiece 'Broadway Boogie Woogie' mixed with contemporary techno jazz electronic beats. Life is too coincidental because 1) I play Jazz and 2) I contribute to the open source Java OLAP server Mondrian.
PacMan 1 vs Pacman 2
Numerous students have used the game's source code for research projects in computer AI. Here's one example where two Pacmans (controlled by different computer AIs) play against each other.
Java Sun Microsystems
Can you believe this game was written in 2000?! Who ever heard of open source or web 2.0 back then? Anyway, this game was showcased by Sun on their website for a few years for demonstrating Java applet technology. The link is gone now but it was one my proudest moments :)
Microsoft Lawyers
Sometime in 2002, I get a call from someone in Microsoft asking if I would allow them to bundle my game with their (at that time) new Visual J# to demonstrate ease of migration from J++ to J#. Although I wasn't going to get paid or anything, this was for educational/tutorial purposes so I said sure - why not? So, then another lawyer responds by asking me to sign a few papers and sends me this ridiculous license agreement. I told him to take a hike.
